OKLAHOMA CITY FC WINS HEARTLAND DIVISION TITLE

OKLAHOMA CITY (June 19, 2025) - Oklahoma City FC officially secured the WPSL Heartland Division title late Wednesday night, following second-place Union KC’s 1-1 draw at FC Wichita.

With the division crown, Oklahoma City FC will host the WPSL Midwest Conference Championship on July 2 at Mustang High School’s Bronco Soccer Stadium. The ScissorTails will face either FC Pride (Indianapolis) or Lou Fusz Athletic (St. Louis), with the winner advancing to the WPSL Playoffs and earning the right to host the Central Regional Championship on July 12-13.

This marks Oklahoma City FC’s first division or conference title since 2017 and the sixth regular season championship in the club’s 17 WPSL seasons.

The ScissorTails return to action this Saturday, hosting FC Wichita in a 7 p.m. kickoff at Bronco Stadium. The Oklahoma City FC Reserves will also be in action, facing Kansas Rush Wichita at 4:30 p.m. in a WPSL Division II matchup as part of a doubleheader.

Saturday’s event is Alzheimer’s Awareness Night, presented by Jay Parks & Associates. Fans are encouraged to wear purple in support of the cause. Tickets are for $10 for adults and $5 for children under 5 and seniors 65 and older.
